Plastic Processing / Extrusion
Custom Plastic Extrusion
Custom plastic extrusion support from product design review, material selection, extrusion die development, trial samples, customer confirmation, mass production, inspection, packing, and export delivery.
Process Fit
When Custom Plastic Extrusion Is The Right Process
Plastic extrusion is suitable when the product is a continuous profile, tube, strip, channel, seal, cover, or trim with the same cross-section along its length. The key is not only opening a die. The profile design, material, hardness, tolerance, cooling, cutting, secondary work, packing, and repeat supply all need to work together.
- Best FitSame cross-section along the length: profiles, tubes, strips, rails, seals, trims, and covers.
- Review FirstThin lips, hollow sections, soft material, tight assembly tolerance, cutting, punching, printing, or coiling.
- Not IdealComplete 3D shapes with changing geometry, one-time quantities, or problems that need material reformulation first.
Process Route
How Plastic Extrusion Works
Plastic extrusion makes a continuous part by melting plastic material and pushing it through an extrusion die. The die creates the profile cross-section, then the part is cooled, pulled, cut, coiled, punched, or packed according to the final delivery requirement.
- Feed The MaterialPlastic pellets or prepared compound are fed into the extruder. Material choice affects hardness, flexibility, color, weather resistance, surface, and processing stability.
- Melt And Push Through The DieThe screw melts and pushes the material through the extrusion die. The die controls the basic continuous profile shape.
- Cool And Size The ProfileThe profile is cooled and guided so the final section, wall thickness, lip shape, and key dimensions stay as stable as possible.
- Cut, Punch, Coil, Or PackAfter extrusion, the part may be cut to length, punched, printed, fitted with adhesive, coiled, bundled, carton-packed, or palletized.
Extrusion Quote Review
What We Check Before Developing An Extrusion Die
Before quoting, Jizon reviews the product design, material direction, die development risk, trial sample plan, customer confirmation route, secondary processing, and mass production delivery format.
Design And Application Review
Check drawings, samples, assembly position, cross-section, wall thickness, hollow areas, sealing lips, slots, bending risk, and use environment.
Material And Die Direction
Select PVC, PE, PP, ABS, TPE, TPU, soft or rigid material, then review hardness, color, flexibility, cooling, shrinkage, and extrusion die risk.
Sample, Confirmation, And Supply Plan
Plan trial extrusion, sample adjustment, customer confirmation, cutting, punching, adhesive backing, printing, packing, inspection, and repeat production.
Development Path
From Product Design Review To Stable Extrusion Supply
Product Design Support
Review the drawing, sample, or application field and suggest profile adjustments for extrusion feasibility, assembly fit, wall thickness, hollow sections, lips, slots, and transport format.
Material Selection
Choose PVC, PE, PP, ABS, TPE, TPU, soft or rigid material based on hardness, color, flexibility, weather resistance, flame resistance, wear, food-contact, or other performance needs.
Extrusion Die Development
Develop the extrusion die for the confirmed cross-section. This die controls a continuous profile shape, not a complete injection-molded 3D part.
Trial Extrusion And Sample Adjustment
Run trial samples and check dimensions, surface, hardness, color, shrinkage, deformation, cutting, punching, and assembly effect. Adjust die, material, or process when needed.
Sub Process / Material Support
PVC Pelletizing As Part Of Extrusion Support
When a PVC extrusion part cannot meet the required hardness, flexibility, color, surface, or processing stability, we can review the compound instead of only changing the die. This is where PVC pelletizing becomes a supporting sub-process.
- Confirm The IssueCheck whether the problem comes from shape, tooling, color, hardness, flexibility, or surface quality.
- Adjust The CompoundReview PVC, uPVC, flexible PVC, filler, color, additive, and processing stability direction.
- Support Trial SupplyPrepare trial material and provide a material property sheet after the requirement is confirmed.
