What Buyers Should Confirm Before Ordering Custom PVC Extrusion Profiles

A practical guide for drawings, samples, resin, hardness, color, profile tolerance, cut length, tooling, MOQ, and inspection points.

Guide overview: Custom PVC extrusion is useful when buyers need a profile, strip, channel, tube, cover, seal, or trim that does not match a standard product. Before quotation, the factory needs enough information to judge die feasibility, material direction, tolerance, production stability, and packing.

Drawing / Sample Extrusion Die Stable Profile
A useful extrusion quote starts from the profile shape, material, tolerance, quantity, and packing requirements.

Send The Cross-Section First

The cross-section is the most important information for a custom extrusion profile. A drawing is best, but a clean sample photo with dimensions can also help. Buyers should mark width, height, wall thickness, slot size, locking structure, hole position, sealing lip, or any area that affects installation.

Confirm Material And Hardness

PVC can be rigid or flexible. The formula affects hardness, color, surface feel, UV direction, impact resistance, flame-retardant direction, and processing stability. If the buyer only says "PVC profile" without application details, the factory may not choose the right formula.

Explain The Application

The same profile shape may need different material or tolerance depending on use. A decorative trim, cable cover, gasket, door seal, or equipment profile will have different priorities. Share where the profile will be installed, whether it must bend, seal, clip, slide, protect, or carry load.

Quote Checklist

  • Drawing, sample, or clear photo with dimensions
  • Material, hardness, color, and surface requirement
  • Cut length, tolerance, packing, and quantity
  • Application environment and installation method
  • Any compliance, flame-retardant, UV, or temperature requirement

Next step: Send your extrusion profile drawing or sample. Jizon can review die direction, material formula, sample risk, MOQ, and mass-production details before quotation.
